Training for Operators of Effluent Treatment Plants in Textile Factories

This tool provides guidance for trainers, facilitators, and service providers engaged in training Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) operators in textile factories. It is an integral component of the Promoting Sustainability in the Textile and Garment Industry in Asia (FABRIC) project, which actively promotes regional knowledge tranfer and dialogue to ensure an environmentally friendly, social and competitive textile industry in Asia. The materials within this resource are divided into two sections: one for Training of Trainers (ToT) and the other for the 12-day ETP operator course. These materials are designed to assist trainers in imparting knowledge on effluent treatment principles, safety practices, and monitoring procedures to ETP staff.

ETP Training Overview:

  • Comprehensive Content: Covers textile and garment factory effluent treatment thoroughly.
  • Module-Based Learning: Includes engaging presentations, interactive discussions, quizzes, and handouts for effective learning. Promotes active participation.
