Sector Project Sustainable Economic Development

The project advises the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) on issues related to economic policy and private sector development. In addition to that, the project develops approaches to be utilised in developing countries to support the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for sustainable development. In this overall context, the promotion of sustainable industrial areas is a key activity of the project.
The project’s themes include Sustainable Industrial Areas, International Framework on Eco-Industrial Parks, Industrial Policy, Business and Investment Climate, Digitalisation and Industry 4.0, Green and Inclusive Economic Development, Economic Development in the Context of Fragility and Forced Displacement, Promotion of Entrepreneurship and Small and Medium Enterprises
