The Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection (German: Bundesministerium für Umwelt, Naturschutz, nukleare Sicherheit und Verbraucherschutz), abbreviated BMUV, is a cabinet-level ministry of the Federal Republic of Germany. It is headquartered in Bonn with a branch office in Berlin. The current minister of the environment is Steffi Lemke, who assumed office on 8 December 2021.
