Ministerio de Economia, Industria y Comercio de Costa Rica (MEIC)

The Ministry of Economy, Industry, and Commerce of Costa Rica (MEIC) is the government ministry responsible for participating in the formulation and planning of the country's economic policy. It also oversees public policies related to private initiatives, business development, and promotion of entrepreneurial culture in the industry, trade, and service sectors, as well as for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The current head of the ministry is Francisco Gamboa Soto.
